An armed gang stole £18,500 in cash in a hold-up at the Virgin Cinema multiplex at Parnell Street, Dublin, late last night. Three men, one armed with a sawn-off shotgun, held up staff when they were putting money in the safe at 10.15 p.m. and escaped on foot.
