Great Southern Hotels (Dublin Airport) Ltd, which is owned by Aer Rianta, was yesterday granted a declaratory order in the Circuit Licensing Court for its new 147-bedroom hotel and conference facility. Mr Tom Morgan, counsel for the company, told Judge Dominic Lynch the £10 million development would be sited at the main entrance roadway to the airport and would employ up to 100 people.

The order guarantees the company a drinks licence if the development is completed in accord with all planning permissions.
