The case against two men charged with possession of cannabis resin worth about £2.7 million was adjourned for service of a book of evidence at Kells District Court yesterday.
Mr Kenneth Tunstead (32), of Brookhaven Lawn, Blanchardstown, Dublin, and Mr Ray Smyth (35), of Fairyhouse Road, Ratoath, Co Meath, are both charged with having the drug with intent to supply to others at Tullaghmedan, Drumree, Co Meath on July 26th.
Supt Oliver Lewis said the book of evidence was not ready to be served and requested a six-week adjournment.
Judge John Brophy granted the adjournment but warned that if the book was not served by the next date there had better be a good reason.
