The Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment has said almost 386 new jobs will be created in the expansion of ten companies over the next three years.

In investments worth €25 million, jobs will be created in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Leitrim, Offaly, Wexford and Laois.

The single biggest expansion is by the Chanelle Group, which hopes to create 103 jobs in Loughrea, Co Galway. Some 40 jobs will be created by Ecom Interaction Services Ltd, a telemarketing company in Clonakilty, Co Cork.

"In a difficult global trading environment, these companies have identified market opportunities and are prepared to invest substantial resources in responding to those opportunities," the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Ms Harney said.
