Glogovac - Investigators from the UN war crimes tribunal have exhumed 28 bodies from a mass grave in Cikatovo, near Glogovac in central Kosovo. "It's a new site and there are male and female bodies," said Mr Peter Steward, a New Zealander working with the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. "The bodies appear to be several months old. They appear to be people from this area," he added, but declined to indicate the cause of death.
Mr Steward and forensic experts began exhuming the corpses five days ago.
