Rotterdam - At least 50 people were arrested and an unknown number injured in mass riots in central Rotterdam after celebrations to mark the league title win of local team Feyenoord turned violent late yesterday, police said.
They said hundreds of fans ran amok through the city after a festive gathering in front of the city hall to pay tribute to Feyenoord, who clinched the Dutch championship earlier yesterday when they drew 2-2 with NAC Breda.
