Government spending on Information Society initiatives will increase by £30 million next year.
Over £25 million was allocated to information technology initiatives this year, but just £16 million was spent. A sum of £46 million has been allocated for this measure next year. The Government started this Information Society fund two years ago, to promote information technology.
