The condition of Louise Shinners (14), of Derryview, Clonlara, Co Clare, who was a victim of a school bus crash was last night still critical in the intensive care unit of the Limerick Regional Hospital.
She was among 40 schoolchildren, aged between 12 and 17, who were taken to two Limerick hospitals after the bus in which they were travelling to St Anne's Community College, Killaloe, was in collision with a gravel lorry on Monday morning.
The driver of the bus, Mr Patrick Keane (55) of Corbally, Limerick, and the other pupils were discharged from hospital.
