Two members of the English boyband 5ive have again appeared at the Dublin District Court over an alleged disturbance at a pub in the city last month. A date for their return to court was set for late March.

Mr Jason Brown (23) is to return for trial on March 26th while Mr Richard Dobson (21) will return on the same day for a further hearing.

Both men face charges of being drunk and disorderly and using abusive and threatening language in a public place. Mr Brown also faces an assault charge.

The charges relate to an alleged fight in a Dublin city-centre pub, the Palace Bar, on December 20th.

Mr Peter Charleton SC, representing both men in court, asked Judge Miriam Malone for a date for the trial and hearing. In the case of Mr Dobson he said "evidence will not be necessary".

Mr Charleton said as both men were resident in the UK he asked that consideration be given to days on which they would be available to appear before the court. The case would take approximately one hour, Mr Charleton said.

Judge Malone said she was remanding both men on continuing bail until their return to court.

Neither Mr Brown nor Mr Dobson spoke during the brief hearing.
