A man who denies murdering a French busker in Wicklow two years ago was picked out of an identification parade by the key witnesses in the case, the Central Criminal Court has heard.

Declan Sheridan (25), Sugarloaf View, Sea Road, Kilcoole, who is pleading not guilty to murdering Charles Sinapayen in Bray in 2009, was identified by the main prosecution witness five days after the fatal shooting.

Mr Sinapayen (33), a musician, was shot in the head at Richmond Hill Fassaroe, Bray, on May 29th, 2009.

Keith Lowe (29) has told the jury that Mr Sheridan’s co-accused, James O’Connor, rang him on the evening of May 28th, asking for a lift. Mr O’Connor (27), Kilbridge Grove, Bray, also denies murder.
