The Sinn Fein president is expected to visit the Middle East shortly. The Palestinian leader, Mr Yasser Arafat, invited Mr Gerry Adams during a telephone conversation, Sinn Fein said yesterday. Mr Adams currently in Canada on a North American fund-raising tour, spent some time on the telephone to Mr Arafat, who is in the US.
