Nwankwo Kanu's agent has denied reports claiming the Nigerian striker will quit Arsenal if manager Arsene Wenger does not play him in tonight’s Champions League match against Lyon.
Kanu's Dutch-based agent, Frank Sedoc, said: "He has never given an ultimatum. We do not want to be in a fight with Mr. Wenger.
"If Kanu does not play tonight so be it. It does not mean he does not want to play for Arsenal."
The Nigerian international has been frustrated at being left out as Wenger rotates his squad - and also by remarks, supposedly made by Wenger, that the player did not like playing in England's cold climate. - PA
