The Taoiseach, Mr Ahern, will fly to London tomorrow for a further round of talks with the British Prime Minister, Mr Blair, and leaders of the UUP, the SDLP and Sinn Fein.
The resumption of the roundtable talks, adjourned last Thursday, had been in doubt following Monday's seemingly abortive meeting between the Ulster Unionists and Sinn Fein, and the failure of Tuesday's separate round of talks between Mr Blair, Mr David Trimble and Mr Gerry Adams to resolve the decommissioning impasse.
