The Government has appointed two companies to advise the Minister for Transport on the sale of Aer Lingus.
Minister Martin Cullen today announced the appoinment of AIB Capital Markets and UBS Limited today.
Both companies will advise the minister on the size, type and timing of the Aer Lingus transaction as well as to execute the selected transaction.
William Fry and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer have also been appointed as legal advisors for the assignment.

The selection was made after a competitive tendering process conducted in accordance with public procurement rules.
