It would take a further month for the State to complete a book of evidence in the case against an Albanian accused of stabbing a Bosnian security guard in Dublin city centre, Dublin District Court heard yesterday. Mr Affrim Xhafa (21), of no fixed address, is accused of assaulting Mr Bkrija Hota with intent to cause grievous bodily harm at Abrakebabra, Upper O'Connell Street, Dublin, on June 17th.

Judge Murrough Connellan remanded Mr Xhafa with consent to bail of £10,000, to appear again on September 10th.
