All Blacks make two changes for second test

New Zealand's selectors have made two changes to the starting XV for Saturday's second Test against Ireland in Auckland.

New Zealand's selectors have made two changes to the starting XV for Saturday's second Test against Ireland in Auckland.

The All Blacks stuttered and stumbled to a 15-6 victory in the first Test in Carisbrook and were booed off by a disappointed home crowd at the final whistle.

The changes both come in the backline with Mark Robinson returning at centre while Jonah Lomu gets his first start of the international season on the wing.

Robinson, who wins his fourth Test cap, performed strongly during the All Blacks' win over Italy at Hamilton before being forced from the field late in the game after sustaining a knock.

The talented midfielder made his Test debut for New Zealand at Eden Park two years ago and marked the occasion by scoring a try against Scotland.

Lomu will be playing his 58th Test. He came off the bench in New Zealand's first two Tests of the campaign.

Doug Howlett and Tana Umaga are the men to miss out although Howlett has made the substitutes' bench.
