The new young bloods include Damien English (24), a councillor and full-time politician, elected in Meath; Olwyn Enright (27), a solicitor, who succeeded her father Tom in Laois-Offaly; Pat Breen (45) a councillor in Clare; Gerard Murphy (51), a councillor in Cork North West; Fergus O'Dowd (54) a senator, in Louth; John Deasy (35), a councillor on Waterford County Council who succeeded his father, former minister Austin Deasy, in the Waterford constituency; and Paul Kehoe (30) a full-time public representative, in Wexford.
