London - Angry passengers threatened to take over a train as tempers flared due to delays. The near-mutiny took place when passengers became angry because their train was held up at Keighley station in West Yorkshire due to other services breaking down further up the line.
Some of the commuters threatened to pull the communications cords when the driver announced they would be returning the 20 miles back to Leeds. A power failure at Leeds station meant the train could not return and the passengers got off and made their own way home.
