LONDON - In a case described as a first in British legal history, a furious judge jailed two women jurors for contempt of court after they said they could not reach a verdict in a 17-day counterfeiting trial, it emerged yesterday. A Knightsbridge Crown Court judge sentenced the jurors each to 30 days in Holloway Prison for contempt of court.
