Two anti-war campaigners got inside Europe's main centre for trading in futures contracts for crude oil, forcing a temporary suspension in business.

The pair were among about 30 people protesting outside the International Petroleum Exchange (IPE) in St Katharine's Dock, near Tower Bridge, London.

They managed to get past security and temporarily occupy an office, but were later ejected after police were called.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said no arrests were made and the demonstrators continued their protest outside the building.
