Brazilian star Ronaldinho must wait another 24 hours to discover if he will be banned from the World Cup final after he was sent off in the quarter-final showdown with England.

His expulsion will be discussed by FIFA's disciplinary committee on Sunday.

Ronaldinho is automatically suspended for the semi-final encounter against either Turkey or Senegal but it can be extended by the disciplinary committee if they think the offence was serious.

With Brazil now firm favourites to lift the World Cup for a record fifth time, the South American's would sorely miss the Paris St Germain striker.

The Brazilian's foot slipped over the top of the ball and caught the Leeds player on the shin, sending him tumbling to the ground.
