Gardaí are today appealing to the public for help in identify a man who died after he was found in the River Liffey.
The man was found yesterday in the river near the Talbot Memorial Bridge, and was taken to the Mater hospital in Dublin, where he died.
He is white and in his late thirties to early forties. He is 1.75 metres tall (5' 9''), of a large build, and has black short hair with a receding hairline going grey to the front and side. He has dark eyebrows, hazel coloured eyes but no distinguishing marks or tattoos.
He was wearing dark combats, a green tee-shirt with a zip, brown sandals with three "velcro" straps and dark socks.
