The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland is inviting applications from interested parties for the provision of a new Christian and religious radio broadcasting service.

The service will be broadcast primarily on the AM band with supplemental low power VHF-FM transmitter stations.

The Commission says the station will have a broad format and will focus on general religious and Christian affairs of relevance to listeners over the age of 15.

A ten year contract will be awarded to the successful application.
