Racing: Arch Swing's prospects of running in the Stan James 1000 Guineas have "improved dramatically", with her chances of making the fillies' Classic on Sunday week now rated "at least 50-50".
John Oxx's charge is back in fast work after she had a temperature earlier this month and a decision on her participation is likely on Wednesday.
"She's back in good form and in work. We've been happy with her this week, so her chances of running in the Guineas have certainly improved dramatically," said the Currabeg trainer.
"But we will have to see how she takes her work, what effect it has on her, work her again next week and see how she goes on from one bit to the next.
"She seems to have bounced out of her setback very quickly and we've been very happy with her.
"I would say she has at least a 50-50 chance of running in the Guineas, maybe a little better than that. We just have to see what effect getting her back into fast work has had on her.
"She's worked on Tuesday and Friday this week and seems to be back to her normal self, but it's just a matter of observing what effect the work has had on and whether it has flattened her or not.
"We've still got a good chance that she'll make it, but obviously we have to be a bit cautious.
"At the weekend we will be confirming the entry. We will work her on Tuesday and see how she is the next day. I would say we will be in a position to make a decision on Wednesday."
Arch Swing, 16-1 with the sponsors, stretched her unbeaten record to three when winning the 1000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown on her seasonal reappearance.
