ARMAGH, Ireland's ecclesiastical capital, will host the Charles Wood Summer School - a celebration of music for worship. It runs from August 19th to August 26th.

The school, named after the city's famous composer and teacher, marks the 130th anniversary of his birth on Vicars Hill. Composers Martin How and Colin Mawby will hold workshops and master classes at all levels.

Thomas Trotter, one of the world's leading organists and a former scholar of Kings College, Cambridge, will give an organ recital in St Patrick's Catholic Cathedral. The Charles Wood Singers will perform in the Cathedral Church of St Patrick.
