Two men brandishing suspected handguns entered the Bank of Ireland in Main Street, Kingscourt, at
about 11.30am.

They held up staff before making off by car with a small quantity of cash.

No shots were fired and no-one was injured in the robbery, but bank employees were said to be badly
shaken.

Gardaí are calling for the public's help in tracing the movements of a dark-coloured Toyota Corolla.

The car was seen in the vicinity of Kingscourt, Nobber and Moynalty between 10am and 12pm and was
later found burnt out about five kilometres outside the town.
