The wedding cavalcade of Ms Pauline McCarthy and Mr Sean Burns featured all the trimmings. A horse and cart for the couple, a coach for the guests and, for the bridal party, a former British army armoured personnel carrier.
Decorated with streamers and balloons, the Saracen, owned by local man Mr Art Corbett, trundled along to St Peter's Cathedral off the Falls Road for a lunchtime wedding on Saturday.
The decommissioned vehicle was purchased on the Internet for £4,000 sterling.
"I thought it would be a bit of craic," said Mr Burns.
