Rail passengers in the south will be affected again today by a continuing unofficial strike by SIPTU and NBRU drivers.
The expected disruptions are as follows: Passengers on the 7 a.m. train from Tralee to Heuston will be transferred by bus to Killarney for the train to Dublin. Passengers on the 8.30 a.m. train from Heuston to Tralee will disembark at Mallow and be bussed to all stations to Tralee. On the 9.15 a.m. Tralee to Cork train, passengers will be bussed to Mallow for the train to Cork. Passengers on the 1.48 p.m. train from Tralee to Heuston will be bussed to Mallow for the train to Dublin. A bus connection will operate for the 4 p.m. train from Mallow to Tralee. The 6.35 p.m. train from Heuston to Tralee will travel to Mallow, where passengers will be taken by bus to Tralee. For information: www.irishrail.ie and 1850 366222.
