Cricket: South Africa coach Micky Arthur insists his side will not under-estimate Ireland after suffering a scare against the World Cup minnows in a warm-up match last month.
The pair meet for real today in the Super Eight but Arthur will be reminding his players of exactly what is required from them.
Ireland's Trent Johnston and Dave Langford-Smith helped reduce the world number ones to 91 for eight in Trinidad in their last meeting but South Africa recovered to post 190 and win by 33 runs.
"While we can look back on that game and say we approached it as just that, a warm-up game, this game is different. We are going there to get two points and if it's a clinical performance, all the better," said Arthur.
"Ireland may be a team of amateurs but they will always be tough because they play for one another with a tremendous amount of passion."
Ireland coach Adrian Birrell believes his side have not been given the credit they deserve for their World Cup exploits and is plotting another upset having already dumped Pakistan out of the competition in the group stages.
"Our confidence has certainly risen since we arrived in the Caribbean," said Birrell. "We have a game plan and I believe that once we stick to it we will be competitive.
"Members of the other teams have being very supportive but we feel that some press reports have not given us the credit that is due. However, a good performance against South Africa can certainly enhance what we have done."
