Now in its fifth year, Bealtaine, the month-long arts festival for older people includes over 150 events until May 31st throughout the country.
With its aim to accommodate artistic expression as well as offer opportunities for exploration of the arts, Bealtaine includes guided tours of arts institutions, and workshops in everything from writing to dance and drama. At the multimedia centre, Arthouse, there will be a virtual tour of contemporary art, while at the National Concert Hall composer, Ian Wilson will share insights into his world of composing.
