A Sinn Féin TD’s constituency office was damaged in a petrol bomb attack this afternoon.
The incident happened at Aengus O'Snodaigh’s office in Ballyfermot, south Dublin.
“This mindless attack could have endangered the lives of people working in that building, not just my own staff but also those who work for two businesses who share the building with my office,” the Dublin South Central TD said.
It is understood the petrol bomb was thrown in to the hallway of the shared building at about 3pm and caused only minor smoke damage.
No-one was injured and the incident was quickly dealt with. The incident has been referred to gardaí.
"This will not deter me from delivering a constituency service to the most vulnerable in this community," Mr O'Snodaigh said.
