A suspected Islamic militant stabbed and wounded seven people at a campsite in Morocco's tourist resort of Agadir today, government officials said.
The assailant then stabbed himself to death.
The attack occurred at Agadir's Camping International and left four women and three men, all Moroccan, with stab wounds, an Interior Ministry official said.
Asked if the attacker was an Islamic militant, the official said by telephone: "All the elements point in that direction".

The incident occurred nearly two months after suicide bombings in Morocco's economic capital Casablanca. Authorities have blamed Islamic militants for the May 16th blasts which killed 44 people, including 12 suicide bombers and several Europeans.
