Madrid - The Spanish Prime Minister, Mr Jose Maria Aznar, yesterday led a second funeral service in just over a week for victims of a wave of killings blamed on the Basque separatist group, ETA, which shows no sign of easing its attacks.
Mr Aznar, top cabinet members and opposition leaders gathered in a 17th century church in Madrid to comfort the grieving relatives of Manuel Indiano (29), who six months ago became a town councillor representing the ruling Popular Party.
Gunmen shot him dead in his sweet shop in the Basque town of Zumarraga on Tuesday in the 12th killing either admitted by or blamed on ETA so far this year.
