British operator BAA said today it was performing in line with expectations for the first quarter of the current year.
Chairman Marcus Agius pointed to BAA's forecast for traffic growth of 3.5 per cent at its London airports this year, and growth in net retail income per passenger of more than 1 per cent.
BAA - whose seven airports include London's Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted - had previously tipped a "robust" current year despite a slowdown in passenger growth off record highs last year.
