A Dublin man who admitted taking 200 copies of The Irish Times from a shop where they had been delivered has voluntarily paid £5,000 compensation to the shop, Dublin District Court was told yesterday.
James Murphy (19), of Springfield Drive, Tallaght, committed the offence early on the morning of August 4th, 1997, at a shop at Dublin airport.
Murphy was remanded on bail to November 25th for a probation report.
