One of Ireland's most popular drinks will soon be produced in Belfast as well as Dublin.
The company behind Baileys Irish Cream - a mixture of Irish whiskey and cream - are to invest 64 million euros to build a new plant in Belfast, in anticipation of a doubling of sales over the next two years.
The Northern Ireland plant will operate in conjunction with Baileys' current Dublin-based production line.
During its first year, 50 jobs will be created and the northern flow of Baileys Cream is due to begin next year.
The increase in demand for the drink is also to lead to the generation of 100 new posts in Dublin, permitting production to grow from its current annual level of five million cases - more than 60 million bottles - to 6.3 million cases.
