Dunshaughlin manager Eamonn Barry is set to run against Sean Boylan in a bid to become the new Meath football manager, according to reports today.

Boylan has managed the Leinster giants for 21 years and suggested last week that he would consider putting his name forward for another term.

But Barry, who ran against Boylan in last year's race, intends running again after being approached by a number of clubs within the county.

Barry has a strong pedigree at club level and guided Dunshaughlin to the Leinster club title last year.
