Bedminster International, a bio-energy technology company controlled by Irishman Mr William McCabe, has signed a €200 million agreement to convert waste into a high quality bio-fuel in New York.

The 25-year agreement with Tully Environmental, a division of Tully Construction, one of New York's largest privately-owned construction companies, and Petruzzo Products provides for the treatment of 400 tonnes of organic material per day from New York City at a site in upstate New York, using the Bedminster Bio-Energy Technology.

Petruzzo Products is providing the permitted site for the facility.

Tully Environmental, who handle up to 2,000 tonnes per day of waste generated in New York City will supply the feedstock to produce the bio-fuel.
