Racing: Beef Or Salmon is in rude health today after trouncing his rivals to win a second Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup at Leopardstown on Sunday.
The 10-year-old secured his eighth Grade One victory to strengthen his claims at the head of the market for the totesport Cheltenham Gold Cup.
Trainer Michael Hourigan was delighted with his stable star’s success and is now keeping his fingers crossed ahead of the Cheltenham showpiece on March 17th.
"He’s come out of the race brilliantly and is out in the paddock enjoying himself this morning," said the County Limerick handler.
