The PSNI are investigating a serious sex assault on a woman in the university area of Belfast in the early hours of this morning.
The woman, aged 20, was attacked as she walked along Agincourt Avenue, close to the junction with the Ormeau Road at around 1.30am.
Last Wednesday, a 22-year-old woman was raped when she was attacked in University Street at around 3am.
A police spokesman said it was too early to say whether the attacks were linked. The man responsible for the latest rape was said to be aged between 20-25, about 6ft tall and with blond hair.
His victim said he was wearing blue jeans and blue T-shirt.
