A Christian taxi firm set up in the Shankill area of Belfast closed its doors today after a spate of vandalism.
Pastor Jack McKee, who founded Liberty Taxis along with the New Life Fellowship Church, had the windows in his home smashed and his car destroyed by a petrol bomb earlier this week.
At the time of the incident Pastor McKee said he was certain that it was linked to the Christian-based firm.
He said his taxi business had brought jobs into the area after he set it up earlier this year.
A statement from the company said: "Due to further concerns expressed by the PSNI and for the sake of our drivers and their families, we the leadership of New Life Fellowship took the decision to close Liberty taxis.
"We will continue to promote and practice the Christian message of love and forgiveness and to pray for all who live and work within the Shankill community and our neighbouring communities."
The company was first set up earlier this year after a number of taxi drivers in the area had their vehicles petrol bombed.
Pastor McKee's family were in their home when the vandalism took place earlier this week.
He said he saw around three men running from the scene, but more may have been involved.
