GAA Fixtures:The dates, times and venues for three of the four All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals were issued by the GAA today and the standout fixture sees Kerry take on Dublin at Croke Park on the August Bank Holiday Monday with an earlier than ususal throw-in time of 2pm.
With no games at Croke Park on Saturday,
the GAA has given more time
for the pitch to recover after the U2 entourage has been parked at headquarters for the last week with the band due to
play the last of their three gigs tonight.
Next Monday's showdown will be preceded by the All-Ireland Minor quarter-final between Kerry and Roscommon with throw-in at 12 noon. The earlier times should also accommodate the travelling Kerry fans.
Sunday will see a SFC quarter-final double-header take place at Croke Park with Cork to take on Donegal at 2pm before Tyrone meet Kildare at 4pm.
The last of the SFC Round Four Qualifiers between Limerick and Meath will take place in Portlaoise on Saturday with throw-in at 7pm.
Tickets for all of next weekend’s games will go on sale online tomorrow morning.
