London - The composer Lord Lloyd-Webber yesterday suggested a novel way for the beleaguered Millennium Dome to make money - burn it to the ground and charge people to watch the blaze.
In a letter to the Daily Telegraph, Lord Lloyd-Webber claims the "public likes nothing more than a good blaze". Following the collapse of the deal to sell the Dome to the Japanese bank Nomura, he suggests that burning the Dome would provide a "profitable exit route for all concerned".
