The three judges appointed by the British government to inquire into Bloody Sunday in Derry in January 1972 will attend a technical weapons demonstration at a Ministry of Defence firing range in Lincolnshire today, together with legal representatives for both the tribunal and victims' relatives.
"The inquiry has identified a need, in the course of studying evidence, to understand what different types of weapons looked and sounded like at the time of Bloody Sunday," a tribunal spokesperson said.
