A body was recovered from the sea off the coast of Donegal this afternoon.
The body, believed to be that of a female, was found at about 2.15 p.m. at Glen Head, Glencolumkille. It has been taken to Letterkenny General Hospital for examination.
According to Gardai, the body has yet to be positively identified. However, it is thought that it could be that of a German tourist, Ms Constanze Czerwinske (22), who was reported missing last Tuesday after she failed to return from a walk in the Glen Head area.
An intensive search has been underway in the area since she went missing.
