The remains of a person thought to be a Spanish fisherman will be examined

at University College Hospital Galway today.

Last night, the Naval Service handed over human body parts to the Gardai after they were discovered during a search off the Skerds Rocks in the Atlantic.

The discovery was made after divers from the LE Aislingsucceeded last night in descending to the wreck of the Spanish fishing vessel, Arosa, which sank last October.
