A man’s body has been recovered from deep in the Conor Pass near Dingle, Co Kerry, after a passerby noted the wall of the mountain pass car park at the summit had been broken and spotted a car 300m down the hillside.
Dingle Sea and Cliff Rescue sent down a team and found the body beside the car.
The body was removed by the Shannon-based Coast Guard helicopter. A postmortem is being carried out at Kerry General Hospital.
