The body of a man found dead on a bus had been there for three days, an inquest at Dublin City Coroner's Court heard yesterday. Mr Richard Doyle (42), of Cherry Orchard Avenue, Ballyfermot, Dublin, was pronounced dead at Conyngham Road bus depot on April 27th, 1999, after he was found on a bus. He had been seen on the bus the previous Saturday, April 24th. A post-mortem showed he died of methadone intoxication with benzodiazophine also present.
The jury returned a verdict of death by misadventure and recommended that an inspection of all buses be carried out every 24 hours.
