Gardaí in Galway are seeking the public's assistance in relation to the recovery of a body of a man from the River Corrib in Co Galway last Saturday morning.

The man is described as 1.88m (6'2")  in height, of medium build with a weathered complexion, which may indicate he spent a lot of time outdoors.

The man has grey receding hair with a red-brown tinge going through it, and grey stubble with a hint of red.

When recovered from the water the man was wearing a black Penney’s t-shirt with a picture of an eagle on the front, black combat trousers, a white Nike hoodie and black Oakley trainers with white soles.
