LONDON - A body was recovered from the sea last night near the spot where a fishing boat capsized, throwing the four men and a woman on board into the Firth of Clyde.
The woman, named as Ms Pamela Crossan (28), had an amazing escape when she swam over a mile to shore and was rescued by holidaymakers after spending four hours in the water. She was being treated for shock and hypothermia.
Strathclyde police said the body was found by divers near the wreck of the clam dredger Equinox about a mile off the Ayrshire coast. The identity was not released.
